About
Job Purpose:
As an Electronics Repair Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and functionality of electronic components for some of the world's leading technology brands. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair electronics, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional technology lifecycle services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and approve incoming electronic components by confirming specifications and conducting visual and functional tests.
- Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies, including PCB rework and soldering (surface mount and through-hole).
- Document inspection and repair results by completing reports and logs, summarizing rework and waste, and updating the quality database.
- Maintain and calibrate measurement equipment, following operating instructions and calling for repairs when needed.
- Ensure compliance with ESD and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives to stay updated on technical standards.
- Complete assigned tasks and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team objectives.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Strong technical skills in electronics repair and diagnostics.
- Proficiency in soldering techniques (surface mount and through-hole).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-7711/7721 preferred).
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
