We are committed to excellence, innovation, and ensuring customer satisfaction. As we expand, we are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Vendor Specialist to join our dynamic team. Position Summary: Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance Vendor Specialist will work closely with various departments to ensure that all vendor-supplied products and materials comply with our rigorous quality standards. This role includes evaluating vendor performance, conducting audits, and collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in quality assurance and vendor management, along with strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving abilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluate and approve new vendors based on established quality standards, capacity, and reliability. Conduct regular audits and inspections of vendor facilities and processes to ensure compliance with company standards. Build and maintain productive relationships with vendors to foster continuous improvement and adherence to quality requirements. Review and analyze vendor performance metrics, including defect rates, on-time delivery, and customer feedback. Collaborate with purchasing and engineering teams to address quality challenges and implement corrective actions. Ensure all vendor-supplied materials and products meet applicable regulatory and industry standards. Document and report on quality issues, audit outcomes, and improvement plans. Assist in the creation and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures. Provide training and support to vendors regarding quality standards and requirements. Stay informed on industry best practices and advancements in quality assurance. Work with the purchasing team to ensure a robust vendor charge back system is in place. Required Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Effective research and investigative capabilities. Robust analytical and problem-solving skills. Consistent attendance record. Positive attitude and approach.
