ALL ABOUT STYLE Our dedicated team of Style Consultants is passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences through effective operations and stunning visual presentations that inspire guests to shop and engage. A Style Consultant is enthusiastic about operations and guest satisfaction, creating an inviting shopping atmosphere that encourages easy exploration. You'll proudly assist guests on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, keeping the sales floor well-stocked with the right products, accurately priced and organized by size, style, and color. Working as a Style Consultant will help you develop valuable skills, including: Understanding guest service fundamentals and supporting a guest-first culture in the store. Gaining retail knowledge about sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping behaviors, pricing and promotions, and visual merchandising. Staying updated on style trends, seasonality, and brand differentiation. Setting, filling, and pricing the sales floor to prioritize guest preferences. As a Style Consultant, your typical day will involve: Driving sales by maintaining a visually appealing sales floor and staying knowledgeable about products to assist guests effectively. Utilizing store tools for sales analysis and inventory management to support guest needs. Receiving truck freight and efficiently restocking the sales floor based on store demands. Creating eye-catching visual merchandising presentations that enhance the shopping experience. Ensuring product availability and maintaining a full sales floor through effective replenishments and merchandising. Organizing the backroom to streamline replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests. Adapting merchandise presentations based on sales trends to elevate guest experiences. Supporting pricing changes and clearance merchandising best practices. Enhancing the fitting room experience by welcoming guests and offering assistance as needed. Managing merchandise return from fitting rooms to maximize sales opportunities. Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all safety protocols. Assisting in various guest services, including cashier duties and order pickups, while ensuring compliance with relevant laws. Creating a warm experience for guests by engaging with them throughout your shifts. Thanking guests for choosing Target and providing exceptional service.
