We are seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our fast-paced warehouse in Austin, Texas. This crucial role supports our daily logistics operations by ensuring materials are handled, stored, and moved efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for maintaining an organized and secure workspace, contributing directly to the success of our supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming materials.
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for outbound shipments according to orders.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and security of goods.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Support broader Logistics functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Material Handler or similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to upholding high Safety standards in all tasks.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and basic Logistics principles.
- Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
