Job Summary:
We are looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our bustling logistics facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is fundamental to our success, involving the accurate retrieval of items from inventory and their subsequent careful packaging for shipment to our valued customers. You will thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse setting that demands precision and speed. Responsibilities:
  • Select and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, utilizing scanning equipment.
  • Verify the accuracy of picked items against order tickets, ensuring correct products and quantities.
  • Package items securely and appropriately for shipping, protecting them from damage during transit.
  • Apply correct shipping labels and documentation to all outgoing packages.
  • Stage completed orders in designated areas for carrier pickup.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace, following all company guidelines.
  • Operate manual equipment like pallet jacks, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Strictly follow all established safety procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by reporting discrepancies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team performance targets.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a picking and packing role or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and understand order instructions and product identifiers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing for long durations and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and the consistent use of PPE.
  • Ability to perform efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
