Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up) to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and traffic rules.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement.
- Assist with inventory counts and placement of stock.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to perform lifting and moving of heavy items.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to following all PPE guidelines.
- Experience in logistics or distribution center preferred.
