About
Our busy distribution center in Washington, D.C. is looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to contribute to our daily operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient flow of goods from arrival to departure. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. A strong understanding of logistics principles is beneficial. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess excellent organizational skills, and be committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. We require all associates to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times to ensure their well-being. This position involves significant physical activity, including standing for extended periods, walking, reaching, and the ability to handle lifting up to 55 pounds regularly. You will work closely with team members to meet daily targets and ensure accuracy in all tasks. We foster a team-oriented atmosphere where collaboration and mutual support are highly valued. Responsibilities will include operating warehouse equipment (training provided), maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with cycle counts.
