Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely and effectively.
- Conduct inventory counts and ensure accuracy in record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those concerning Safety and security.
- Properly use PPE as required for specific tasks and areas.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and assist colleagues as needed.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Understanding of basic inventory control principles.
- Commitment to upholding workplace Safety standards.
