Join our thriving team as a Material Handler in Dallas, Texas! This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, focusing on the efficient movement and organization of goods. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Your contributions will be key to maintaining inventory integrity and supporting the smooth flow of our Logistics chain. This position involves active physical work and requires attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately stock materials in designated warehouse locations, utilizing inventory management systems.
- Pick orders based on customer requirements, ensuring correct items and quantities.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, preparing them for outgoing transport.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Comply with all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Practice safe Lifting techniques and proper material handling protocols.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred. Ability to operate material handling equipment is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. A team-player attitude and a commitment to safety are essential.
