An opportunity awaits for a skilled Inventory Control Specialist at our Indianapolis, Indiana facility. This role is integral to maintaining the precision and reliability of our inventory data, which is fundamental to our overall logistics operations. You will be tasked with overseeing all inventory-related activities, including conducting regular cycle counts, performing thorough physical inventories, and reconciling discrepancies. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that our stock information is accurate and up-to-date. This position requires proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and a deep understanding of inventory control best practices. You will work collaboratively with the warehouse team to implement and refine inventory procedures. Maintaining a safe working environment is paramount; therefore, strict adherence to Safety guidelines and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This role also involves tasks requiring moderate Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate root causes of inventory variances and implement solutions.
- Maintain accurate and real-time inventory data in the WMS.
- Monitor inventory turnover and identify potential obsolescence.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve inventory accuracy.
- Ensure all Safety protocols are followed diligently.
- Execute tasks involving safe and efficient Lifting.
