Join our thriving logistics operation as a Warehouse Associate in Baltimore, Maryland. We are looking for motivated individuals to contribute to the efficiency and success of our warehouse. In this role, you will be involved in a wide range of activities, including receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, preparing shipments, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. You will operate various warehouse equipment, adhering to strict safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, physical capability for manual tasks, and a keen eye for detail. This position is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment and supporting our supply chain. Your dedication to safety, including the proper use of PPE, is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts and audits.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies.
- Support the overall logistics and operational goals of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is highly desirable.
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial trucks is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and basic computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
