About
Experienced Reach Truck Operators are needed at our Dallas, Texas facility! Become an integral part of our logistics team, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of goods. Your primary responsibility will be operating a reach truck to receive, put away, and retrieve inventory accurately and safely. This role demands precision, a strong commitment to Safety, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to maneuver, locate, replenish, and stage inventory within the warehouse.
- Perform truck loading and unloading duties as required.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on the reach truck and report any defects or malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) accordingly.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with all company Safety standards and regulations.
- Follow proper procedures for handling and storing materials.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding workflow and any issues.
- Wear all designated PPE throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment is essential.
- Valid forklift or reach truck operator certification.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to team goals.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
