As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in various warehouse functions, including picking, packing, receiving, and shipping of goods. Your ability to adapt to different tasks and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency will be key. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, with all team members expected to adhere to stringent safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. The physical demands of the role include regular lifting, typically up to 60 pounds, and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.
- Receive and process incoming inventory.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for delivery.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the distribution center.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and procedures.
- Wear required PPE throughout the shift.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals.
