Join our fast-paced logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a Forklift Operator! We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to manage the movement of materials within our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack goods. This role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and supporting our logistics chain. You must have a strong commitment to safety and adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate will possess excellent operating skills, a keen awareness of their surroundings, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic warehouse environment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack merchandise
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse
- Inspect forklifts at the beginning of each shift to ensure safety and operational readiness
- Follow all loading and unloading procedures carefully
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff and supervisors
- Contribute to maintaining high productivity standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift operator certification is required
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Knowledge of logistics and inventory flow is a plus
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE
