About
Our growing company in Provo, Utah, is seeking a motivated and experienced Inventory Control Specialist. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory systems. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and implementing inventory control procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency. Your expertise will directly impact our logistics and supply chain operations by ensuring accurate stock data and minimizing losses. A strong analytical mindset and a commitment to best practices are essential. You must be knowledgeable in safety procedures and the proper use of PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Implement and refine inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability.
- Utilize inventory management software to track and report on stock status.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Train other staff on inventory control best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control, preferably in a logistics or warehouse environment.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Deep understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to safety and a proactive approach.
