Job Summary:
Join our team as a Reach Truck Operator in Atlanta, Georgia, and play a crucial role in our daily warehouse operations. This position requires skilled operation of a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be responsible for ensuring that inventory is stored safely and efficiently, maintaining clear aisles, and performing daily equipment checks. A strong emphasis on safety and adherence to operational procedures is paramount. This role is vital to our logistics network, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods. We are looking for individuals who are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and have proven experience with reach trucks. Your contribution will directly impact our supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate a reach truck to move pallets of goods to and from racking systems and designated areas.
  • Safely and accurately load and unload trailers.
  • Perform daily pre-operational checks on the reach truck and report any issues immediately.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through system updates and physical counts.
  • Ensure all stored goods are organized, secure, and within designated areas.
  • Assist with picking, packing, and staging orders when not operating the reach truck.
  • Adhere to all company safety guidelines and regulations, including proper use of PPE.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
  • Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including frequent lifting.
  • Understand and follow warehouse logistics workflows.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience operating a reach truck is mandatory.
  • Valid certification for reach truck operation is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and correct use of PPE.
