We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for our facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is essential to our daily logistics operations, encompassing a wide range of duties including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are eager to contribute to a positive and productive team environment. The ability to perform physical tasks, follow instructions, and maintain a strong focus on safety are key requirements. You will be an integral part of ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting our overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Sort and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanning technology.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Conduct inventory counts and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with loading outbound shipments.
- Contribute to the overall team effort to meet logistics goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or related field is advantageous.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety and logistics principles.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE.
