Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Manage the put-away process to ensure items are stored in correct locations.
- Track and report on inventory levels, turns, and potential obsolescence.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to improve overall inventory accuracy.
- Maintain organized and accessible inventory records, utilizing WMS software.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of moderate weight.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and supply chain principles.
- Understanding of safety protocols and the importance of PPE in a warehouse setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
