This role is essential for the smooth operation of our distribution center, involving a comprehensive range of tasks from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. You will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory and ensuring timely order fulfillment. A strong commitment to Safety is required, with all associates expected to follow strict safety procedures and utilize appropriate PPE. The ideal candidate will possess physical stamina for demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. While prior warehouse experience is beneficial, we are keen to train enthusiastic individuals eager to build a career in the logistics field. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Sort and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items from shelves to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Operate material handling equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Utilize proper Lifting techniques to ensure personal and team Safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus.
