Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and company materials to and from designated areas.
- Stack and arrange merchandise efficiently and securely in the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure operational readiness and Safety.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and stability.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and locations.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and regulations, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with general warehouse duties and Shipping operations as needed.
- Follow all instructions and guidelines to ensure smooth Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting tasks, up to 40 pounds.
- Strong understanding of Loading and unloading best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions if operating in outdoor areas.
