About
We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our busy logistics hub in Los Angeles, California. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to designated areas, and assisting with inventory management. A strong commitment to Safety and adherence to all operating procedures is non-negotiable. You must possess a valid forklift certification and a proven track record of safe operation. This position requires good hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. All necessary PPE will be provided and must be worn at all times. Occasional manual Lifting may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with efficiency and care.
- Stack and retrieve inventory from various heights.
- Transport goods to and from staging, storage, and shipping areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Wear and use all required PPE diligently.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Knowledge of Logistics and material handling procedures.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring good manual dexterity and spatial judgment.
- Capability for occasional manual Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
