Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support.
- Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Monitor inventory levels and accuracy, implementing strategies to minimize discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Train new staff on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities and generate reports as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operations.
- Handle various operational challenges, potentially including occasional heavy lifting.
