Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment such as conveyor belts, forklifts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues within the facility.
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and racking systems.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to minimize downtime and optimize workflow.
- Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse for potential safety hazards or maintenance needs.
- Support the implementation and integration of new warehouse technologies.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to warehouse management systems (WMS) interfaces with equipment.
- Respond to urgent maintenance calls to resolve critical operational disruptions.
- Effectively manage tools and spare parts inventory.
