Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team in Seattle, Washington. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your expertise will ensure the smooth flow of goods within our distribution center, contributing to operational excellence. Responsibilities:
  • Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach) to move materials within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
  • Stage products for order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts, reporting any issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to OSHA and company standards.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory control through cycle counting and stock management.
  • Support the shipping and receiving teams as directed.
  • Ensure all logistics documentation is correctly handled.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to meet productivity goals.
  • Foster a strong safety culture through active participation and vigilance.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
  • Proficiency in operating multiple types of forklifts.
  • Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and procedures.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination, balance, and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended shifts.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics operations is a strong asset.
  • Willingness to strictly adhere to all PPE requirements.
