Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanning devices or pick lists.
- Pack orders with care to prevent damage during shipping.
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate records.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE, including safety glasses and gloves.
- Assist with preparing shipping labels and documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
- Understand and implement standard logistics procedures.
- Undertake other warehouse tasks as needed to support the team.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle lifting up to 40 lbs frequently.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move for the duration of the shift.
- Demonstrated reliability and a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse safety practices and logistics principles.
- Willingness to adhere to all company safety policies, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to team success.
