Responsibilities:
- Accurately label and prepare packages for shipment.
- Verify shipping addresses and order details for accuracy.
- Coordinate with carriers for package pick-up and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
- Operate shipping software and equipment, such as scanners and printers.
- Ensure all shipments comply with regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular checks to confirm the integrity of outgoing packages.
- Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate actively in all mandatory safety training.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in shipping or logistics is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and shipping software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
- Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse setting is essential.
