We are looking for an experienced and certified Reach Truck Operator to join our busy logistics hub in San Antonio, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in the warehouse. Your expertise in handling materials at various heights and maintaining inventory accuracy will be vital to our operational success. This position demands a high level of attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic warehouse environment. We provide comprehensive training and all necessary PPE to ensure a safe working experience. The role involves significant maneuvering of materials, requiring precision and a good understanding of warehouse logistics. Regular lifting may be required as part of your duties. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve products in a warehouse environment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of the reach truck and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and updating locations.
- Ensure safe stacking and storage of goods to prevent damage or accidents.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Reach Truck Operator.
- Valid certification for Reach Truck operation.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to lift and move products as needed.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
