Opportunity awaits in Washington, D.C. for a dynamic Warehouse Associate! This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our distribution center, playing a key part in our extensive logistics network. As a Warehouse Associate, you will engage in a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. We are seeking motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to Safety. This position requires physical capability and a collaborative spirit to ensure our operations run smoothly and our customers are satisfied.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory accurately.
- Stock merchandise onto shelves and into designated storage areas.
- Pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners or manual lists with precision.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and dollies.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Conduct inventory checks and participate in cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support the logistics team in achieving daily operational goals.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Commitment to following Safety protocols.
