Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Stock products in their designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare outbound shipments, including labeling and staging for carriers.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment, including your assigned work area.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counting.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and support overall logistics flow.
Requirements:
Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required; we provide comprehensive training. Must have the physical capacity to handle tasks requiring frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods. A strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability are crucial. Excellent attention to detail is necessary for accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. A proactive approach to tasks and a willingness to learn are highly valued. Commitment to safety is paramount; adherence to all safety guidelines and correct use of PPE is expected.
