Our San Jose, California facility is looking for dedicated Warehouse Associates to support our rapidly expanding logistics operations. In this vital role, you will be involved in a variety of warehouse tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and accurately record received goods.
- Stock received items in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts (certification may be required), pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counting activities.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Contribute to team goals and a positive work culture.
Requirements:
Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is highly desirable. The ability to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods is essential. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. A commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow instructions carefully. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with various types of warehouse equipment and their safe operation is important.
