About
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse operations in Washington, D.C. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and store materials within our facility. Your expertise is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of goods and supporting our overall logistics chain. You will be expected to perform daily inspections of your forklift, ensure proper battery charging, and maintain a clean and organized work area. Accurate documentation of inventory movements is also a key responsibility. Safety is our absolute highest priority; you must demonstrate a strong commitment to safe operating practices, adhere strictly to all company safety policies, and always wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). A valid forklift certification is required. This position involves frequent lifting and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
