About
Our Richmond, Virginia warehouse is looking for a meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our logistics operations. This role is essential for managing the flow of goods into our facility. You will be responsible for verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspecting items for damage, and accurately recording all received inventory into our system. A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills are vital for success. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate inventory levels, which is critical for efficient warehouse management and customer fulfillment. Duties include unloading delivery vehicles, labeling and storing incoming goods, and communicating any discrepancies to supervisors and vendors. Safety is paramount in our warehouse environment. You must strictly follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position may involve some lifting and requires the ability to work efficiently in a sometimes fast-paced setting.
