We are seeking a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team in Seattle, Washington. This critical role ensures the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming goods into our warehouse. You will be responsible for inspecting deliveries, verifying contents against purchase orders, and preparing inventory for put-away. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. This position involves physical tasks, including lifting and moving packages. Adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify quantities and quality of goods against receiving documents.
- Document any discrepancies or damages and report them promptly.
- Prepare inventory for storage and distribution.
- Enter receiving data into the inventory management system.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in receiving, inventory, or a related logistics role is preferred. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Excellent attention to detail. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to workplace safety and willingness to wear required PPE.
