About
Seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our robust logistics team in Dallas, Texas! This position is central to our warehouse operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods. You will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport products within our facility. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-conscious, and possesses excellent operational skills. Accuracy in handling inventory and a commitment to maintaining a secure work environment are crucial. This role requires the ability to perform tasks involving significant lifting and maneuvering of heavy items. Strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered equipment to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Transport products to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform regular equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift certification is a must. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or logistics setting. High school diploma or GED. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must possess a strong understanding of warehouse safety practices. Excellent coordination and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
