We are hiring a Warehouse Worker for our facility in Washington, D.C. This role is crucial for the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, involving a wide range of tasks from receiving goods to preparing them for dispatch. You will be an integral part of our logistics network, ensuring that products move smoothly through our facility. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to assigned locations.
- Inspect products for damage and report any issues.
- Pick and fill orders accurately based on requests.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, strictly following safety protocols.
- Utilize appropriate PPE at all times during operations.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to attendance.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment is a plus.
