About
We are looking for a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our bustling distribution center in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth flow of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding the highest standards of safety. This is a demanding but rewarding position within our logistics operations, requiring precision, reliability, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of material movement.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Follow specific picking and put-away instructions to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, preventing obstructions and hazards in our logistics space.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and forklift operating procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic logistics setting.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
