Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed cycle counts, performing regular inventory audits, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and analyzing inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement. A strong commitment to safety, including the strict adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is a mandatory requirement for this position. While occasional lifting may be necessary, the primary focus is on strategic oversight and data integrity within our logistics framework. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and forecast needs.
- Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Manage stock rotation and ensure product freshness/shelf-life.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to optimize stock levels.
- Oversee the proper handling and storage of inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and improve inventory accuracy.
