Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and stage materials and products for distribution.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Move materials from receiving to storage areas, and from storage to production or shipping areas.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Inspect equipment for damage and report any issues immediately.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to all PPE requirements.
- Assist with shipping and receiving functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 75 pounds, consistently.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be able to wear required PPE at all times.
