About
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee operations at our Seattle, Washington facility. This leadership role is integral to managing the daily **Logistics** functions of our warehouse, ensuring efficiency, **Safety**, and accuracy. You will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, coordinating the flow of goods, managing inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and **Safety** regulations. This includes implementing and enforcing **PPE** requirements and conducting regular **Safety** training. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of **Logistics** operations. You should be proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and possess excellent problem-solving abilities. The ability to **Lifting** and manage teams performing physical tasks is also important. Your role will involve optimizing warehouse layouts, improving workflow processes, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and carriers. Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and staff.
- Coordinate the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
- Manage inventory control and ensure accuracy.
- Implement and enforce **Safety** procedures and **PPE** usage.
- Train and supervise warehouse associates.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for efficiency.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and other departments.
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and reports.
- Monitor **Logistics** performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all **Safety** regulations.
- Ability to oversee tasks involving **Lifting** up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or supervision.
- Strong knowledge of **Logistics**, inventory control, and **Safety** management.
- Proficiency in WMS and other relevant software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with **PPE** and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to **Lifting** and manage teams performing physical tasks.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Proven ability to improve operational efficiency.
