About
We are looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join our St. Louis, Missouri warehouse team! This is a critical role in our **Logistics** operations, responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will operate various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport goods to and from storage areas, and assist with inventory management. A strong commitment to **Safety** is paramount, and you must adhere strictly to all company **Safety** protocols and government regulations. Proper use of **PPE** is mandatory at all times. The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift certification, a proven track record of safe operation, and experience in a high-volume warehouse environment. You will be expected to perform pre-operation checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs. This role requires the ability to **Lifting** and maneuver loads, so physical capability is important. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with inventory counts and put-away processes.
- Follow all **Safety** guidelines and **PPE** requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support the overall **Logistics** flow of the warehouse.
- Perform tasks involving **Lifting** and securing loads.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent understanding of **Safety** procedures and **PPE** usage.
- Ability to **Lifting** and secure loads.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse **Logistics** and material handling.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
