As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials, and managing inventory flow using specialized equipment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring accuracy and security.
- Transport goods to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, warehouse procedures, and traffic rules.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counting and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Ensure proper usage of required PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to meet operational targets.
- Perform other material handling duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification is mandatory.
- Proficiency with various types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck, order picker).
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 lbs.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse safety best practices and OSHA regulations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, balance, and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Must demonstrate commitment to wearing and using appropriate PPE.
