We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our warehouse, supporting various aspects of our logistics process. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a range of activities, including receiving and inspecting goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment. Your role is vital in ensuring that our inventory is managed effectively and that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. We place a high priority on workplace safety, and all employees are required to follow established safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position demands physical stamina, the ability to handle moderate Lifting, and a positive attitude towards teamwork. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise onto warehouse shelves and into storage areas.
- Pick items from inventory based on customer orders or requisitions.
- Pack orders carefully for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and safety principles.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks.
