This position is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring that we have precise stock counts and minimizing discrepancies. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, performing detailed audits, and investigating any variances to understand their root causes. Developing and implementing strategies to enhance inventory accuracy and optimize stock management processes will be a key part of your role. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with inventory management systems are essential. You will collaborate closely with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure a smooth flow of goods and maintain optimal stock levels. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses a keen eye for detail, and is proactive in identifying and resolving inventory-related issues. Safety is paramount in our warehouse; you will be required to adhere to all safety regulations and consistently wear appropriate PPE. This role may involve some lifting and the operation of equipment, so a commitment to safe practices is critical. We are looking for individuals who can significantly contribute to the success of our supply chain through meticulous inventory control. Your work directly impacts our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by ensuring product availability and accurate data. Responsibilities include:
- Performing accurate and timely cycle counts of warehouse inventory.
- Investigating inventory discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintaining and updating inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Analyzing inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Developing and executing inventory control procedures.
- Collaborating with warehouse staff to ensure proper put-away and stock rotation.
- Adhering to all safety guidelines and using required PPE.
- Supporting logistics operations by providing accurate inventory information.
- Practicing safe lifting techniques and operating equipment as necessary.
