Are you detail-oriented and have a knack for organization? Our Columbus, Ohio facility is looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to oversee and manage our warehouse inventory. This critical role ensures the accuracy of stock levels, minimizes discrepancies, and optimizes inventory processes. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating variances, and implementing corrective actions. Your expertise in warehouse logistics will be invaluable as you work to improve stock accuracy and availability. A thorough understanding of inventory management systems and procedures is essential. You will also collaborate with other departments, including receiving, shipping, and operations, to ensure seamless inventory flow. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a keen eye for detail. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE, is expected. This role involves some lifting and the operation of equipment, so a commitment to safe practices is crucial.   • Performing regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigating and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Implementing and improving inventory control procedures.
  • Monitoring stock levels and identifying potential shortages or overages.
  • Collaborating with receiving and shipping teams to ensure proper stock rotation and put-away.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Supporting logistics operations by ensuring inventory accuracy.
  • Adhering to safe lifting practices and operating equipment as needed.
