We are looking for energetic and reliable Picker/Packers to join our busy warehouse in Grand Rapids, Michigan! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking products based on customer orders and efficiently packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed are essential to our order fulfillment success. You will be working in a dynamic warehouse environment where safety is a top priority. We provide all necessary PPE and expect strict adherence to our safety protocols. This position involves considerable movement throughout the warehouse, including frequent lifting of items. Familiarity with basic warehouse procedures and logistics is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products from warehouse shelves using a pick list or scanner.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order details.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping, ensuring product protection.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation and warehouse area.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counting.
- Follow all company safety rules and procedures.
- Operate pallet jacks and other light warehouse equipment as needed.
- Meet productivity targets while maintaining accuracy.
- Utilize provided PPE correctly at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform moderate lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Willingness to use all required PPE .
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and safety procedures.
