Join our logistics team in Tampa, Florida, as a Receiving Clerk! We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to manage the incoming flow of goods into our warehouse. This role is crucial for ensuring that all shipments are accurately received, inspected, and processed in a timely manner. You will be responsible for verifying deliveries against purchase orders, documenting any discrepancies, and preparing items for distribution within the warehouse. Our company places a high emphasis on safety, and all Receiving Clerks are expected to adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and correct Lifting techniques. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify the contents of deliveries against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Document all receiving activities and report any issues accurately.
- Tag and label incoming inventory for proper storage.
- Enter receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
