The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating staff, optimizing workflows, and upholding rigorous safety standards. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to procedures and safety guidelines.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure operational readiness.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on warehouse activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or coordination role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of logistics operations and supply chain dynamics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to develop and implement operational strategies.
- Experience with material handling equipment operation and safety.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
