Join our thriving warehouse in Minneapolis, Minnesota as a Warehouse Worker! This position is crucial to our logistics operations, involving a range of tasks from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You'll be an integral part of a team dedicated to ensuring efficiency and accuracy in our distribution process. We foster a strong culture of safety, requiring all associates to comply with established safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for long durations, move throughout the warehouse, and perform frequent lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock shelves and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Assist with preparing outgoing shipments.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable standing and walking for the majority of the shift.
- Willingness to wear and utilize required PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
