Job Summary:
Join our innovative team as a Warehouse Technician in Austin, Texas, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our distribution center. This position requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and automated machinery. You will be responsible for ensuring all equipment operates at peak performance, minimizing downtime, and maximizing productivity. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is essential, along with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues. This role is integral to our logistics operations, supporting the smooth flow of goods throughout the facility. Safety is our highest priority, and technicians are expected to adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE. This position may involve significant lifting and requires working in a physically demanding environment. You will be involved in all aspects of warehouse maintenance, contributing to a safe and efficient logistics workflow. We value proactive problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement. Training on specific equipment and safety protocols will be provided, emphasizing safe lifting techniques and hazard recognition.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Conduct safety inspections of equipment and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Respond to emergency repair requests to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and using appropriate PPE.
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly is required. This is a key role in our logistics chain, ensuring the reliability of our operations. A strong commitment to safety and efficient logistics is expected.
