About
Our Omaha, Nebraska facility is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and processing all outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently. Your duties will include verifying shipping information, selecting appropriate packaging materials, ensuring all items are securely packed, and affixing correct labels and documentation. You will also coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules, maintain shipping records, and assist with inventory control as needed. A commitment to workplace safety is essential, and all employees are required to utilize provided PPE . This role may involve some lifting of packages up to 40 pounds. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a methodical approach to tasks. Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals is a significant advantage. This is a key position within our logistics department, contributing directly to customer satisfaction through timely and accurate shipments.
